Police in Zephyrhills, Florida, arrested a man recently after a bizarre domestic disturbance. Investigators say the suspect, David Barber, attacked a woman with a samurai sword before dragging her down the street, ABC affiliate WFTS reports.Police were called to the scene after receiving a 911 call informing them of a disturbance. When they arrived, they found Barber waving his arms and yelling. The female victim told authorities that he had hit her with the sword while it was still in its sheath, and afterward dropped the weapon and continued the assault.
According to the news source, the victim suffered injuries that backed up her story, and authorities determined she had been living with Barber, who was charged with aggravated domestic battery with a deadly weapon.
