Police in Chicago are on the lookout for a man suspected of robbing a woman and taking her minivan. The man allegedly attempted to sexually assault the victim before driving off in her vehicle, the Chicago Sun Times reports.The incident began when the victim, a 34-year-old woman, pulled the minivan into her garage at 8:22 p.m. Police say that the man forced himself into her car and demanded that she give him money and other items before driving off with the woman at knifepoint.
According to the news source, investigators say that she rode with the suspect for a short period of time before he hit and attempted to assault her, but she managed to escape and he fled in the car. Authorities are looking for a 5-foot-8 Hispanic man with short black hair.
